Have you ever had those moments when you enjoy eating something and there are fond memories playing at the back of your minds? I believe you do. Still remember watching this so-called Disney movie 'Ratatouille', as the france's top restaurant critic named 'Anton Ego' savoring the Ratatouille dish and suddenly his heart melt. Like a boy eating an ice-cream in the middle of afternoon and imagine the ice cream is dripping halfway down to his elbow.
Ego heart melts. Like that kind of ice cream dripping melts.
I experience Ego's flashback memories when I had my 'Sweet Alabama' in The Manhattan Fish Market two weeks ago. Hehe. It is an ice-blended drink mixed with chocolate, vanilla and peanut. I love peanut butter and as Ego's heart melt savoring the Ratatouille dish, I experienced mine.
This is the Sweet Alabama I'm telling you.
We've had feeesh 'n cheese, bro was finger fishing good during that time with his feeesh 'n cheese, and me having baked dory fish + garlic herb rice served altogether with carrots and broccoli. Yums. Hehe, tekak melayu always like this, kalau satu hari busy kerja, wajib cari nasi.
Anyway, just take a moment to savor your food, what do you remember? And do enjoy something exquisite without apologizing for the indulgence.
Just...indulge.
Foodie,
Naddy
