Coldplay and Universal Music

Reminiscing back in my matriculation days, my lecturer who is a 'she' talked about entertainment and stuff during her class and she asked "Who likes Coldplay?"

I raised my hand. 

Yes, an eighteen year old teenager who always into universal kind of music. While my sister has always into hindustan and malay jiwang songs (feeling karoeke big time). I always looked at her with a 'funny face' especially when she came back from IIUM Campus, relieving her stress about her studies and she always put on those DVD's contains of 60% songs and 40% of storylines. 

...and that is what I called Hindustan Movie right? 

We always tease her! Sebab omg feeling dengar dia with the hindustan songs dah macam kat kedai gunting rambut (hahaha). While my elder brother who is always into hip hop and my younger brother into boyband 'One Direction' and stuffs. While my parents are always into Carpenters, ABBA, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, so you can imagine that I live in a world in which these unique people inspires me to appreciate a so called Universal Kind of Music. Ceycey...

and now you can understand why I love to hear different kinds of song. Kadang-kadang tu I feel weird am I the only one who hears different kind of songs? So, listening to Coldplay actually made me relates much more to myself not just the lyrics but the music! Is just...awesome feeling!

Okay, so for the list above, well that's me. Music defines personality and you can quickly relates to others how you feel. Coming back to the Coldplay part, I really love their songs because they are real and genuine. I like them not just because yes..they are cute and handsome guys playing guitars, drums and wat nots but it's the soul of the band itself. Hemhem.. Coldplay is the best.

and yes, of course, I am in love with Chris Martin. Hehehe.
